Chris Moncrief has spent close to the last decade bringing design strategy to new spaces – applying its methodologies and approaches to challenges that need them the most.

After starting his career in program management, Chris transitioned into innovation and continuous improvement work. Whether in his current work as designer, strategist or entrepreneur he is able to seamlessly move between big picture thinking and grass-roots implementation – tailoring high-level design and detailed execution to solve problems that matter. 

He is currently the founder of The Wonder Works Studio, business partner and co-founder at The Gates Preserve, Service Design Lead on Thrivent's new digital & design team and just started as a member of the founding cohort of Institute for Equitable Design. 

A natural builder and educator, Chris believes that we have a responsibility to do more, be more, and make more than we think possible. He leverages human centered design, social innovation, and play to bring people together in pursuit of a world that works for everyone.
